Doctoral studies (Ph.D.)

There are doctoral (Ph.D.) programmes within four fields at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science: electrical engineering, computer science, information and communication technology, and mediated communication.

About doctoral studies

The school’s doctoral programmes are managed by an appointed Director of Third Cycle Education whose main responsibilities are to guarantee the quality of the education and care for the development and observation of rules and regulations. Each doctoral programme is run by a programme coordinator. The program managers responsibilities include leading the school's work with courses at the graduate level, the operational work within the program and to, together with the Director of Third Cycle Education, prepare and develop the program's curriculum topic and manage the programme's quality work.
