General regulations for lab safety and handling of flammable and explosive substances

Greenhouse Labs provides permits for flammable goods, permits that apply to all companies that conduct business in Greenhouse Labs. For other permits, such as those for handling of restricted chemicals, each company is responsible to obtain the necessary permits.

Safety Regulations for Greenhouse Labs

These safety regulations apply to the CBH school as a whole, including Greenhouse Labs, and as a supplement to the Work Environment Act. The safety regulations have been prepared in accordance with the general provisions of the Act. The purpose of the safety regulations is to minimize the risks of accidents and ill-health that can be associated with laboratory work. Everyone who works in Greenhouse Labs should carefully study and apply the instructions and rules of conduct that are stipulated in these safety regulations, and inform themselves of what is contained in the regulations of the Work Environment Act relevant to work with chemistry (see links below and literature instructions in section 5). .

Everyone who works in Greenhouse Labs, should read the safety regulations  and acknowledge via the form (docx 21 kB) that they have read the content. The CEO of each company is ultimately responsible for ensuring that employees and other associated people (hourly employees, job seekers, summer workers etc.) have read the contents of the regulations. The form is submitted to inman@cbh.kth.se  and greenhouse Labs director ( greenhouselabs@che.kth.se ) for archiving. A continuous revision is done with all companies at least once a year.
