About the summer school
The yearly 2-week Energy PhD school organized by ZJU Hangzhou China, SJTU Shanghai China, KTH Stockholm Sweden and TU/e Eindhoven Netherlands will have the theme “Role of Fossil Fuels in Energy transitions”.
When?
14–26 August 2023
What?
You will have a schedule with lectures and project work in an international working environment where students from European Universities as well as Chinese Universities will participate. You will get high-level lectures by expert Professors from Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and TU/e Eindhoven on topics encompassing energy production and consumption, renewable energy technology, sustainability, energy storage technology and energy grids and conversion.
The work load is 3 ECTS.
Where?
This year, the course will be on campus in China.
Expenses
Housing and food is provided for 30 students in total.
The first 10 KTH students will also have their travel costs covered by KTH Energy Platform. Other European students need to finance their trips through their home university via Erasmus +, for instance.
For whom?
Cluster och Unite! students are eligible to apply to the Summer School with a CV and a motivation letter. Please upload your application no later than April 15, 2023. Students will be selected based on their application.
Outcome of the selection is due July 3.
