Planning for Justice & Equity in Urban Agriculture with the JUST GROW Framework

Dr. Rose Jennings is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Rhode Island and she will be sharing a unique framework of urban agriculture growth that aims to guide food systems governance networks across a diversity of contexts towards justice-centered metrics, data infrastructure and eventually sustainable policies, lending to more equitable outcomes in UA. You'll hear about five case studies in Japan, Sweden, Germany, Amsterdam, Norway and the U.S., that are learning from implementing this framework. Dr. Jennings has a background in sustainable food systems, health promotion and international community health from the University of Texas Health Science Center and the University of Oslo.
