Hello there!

Published Dec 08, 2015

My Klint is in charge of Student Inc. at KTH Innovation and is often spotted on stage or mingling at student events where she tirelessly acts as an inspiration and ambassador for student entrepreneurship and creativity. But rumour has it that she's embarking on a new adventure though. We had to haul her in for a serious chat to straighten this out.

My Klint is the Manager at the KTH student incubator Student Inc., run by KTH Innovation.

Hello there My! Word is that you're leaving KTH Innovation, is this really true?

– The rumour is true and I'm embarking on a new venture with the long term objective to strengthen Sweden's grip on technical development by engaging young people in digital technology. To this end, I'm joining forces with two co-founders in starting a company that organises programming and technology camps for young people. These camps will allow youngsters to use technology and programming in a creative capacity. What really excites me about it is that it's not just about learning hard facts and subjects but for the young participants to grow as individuals, leaders and entrepreneurs. Our ambition is to make it as natural to engage in Nox Academy in your spare time as it is to play football or join the scouts.

Exciting stuff! What is your new role?

– I'm stepping in as CEO for the startup which means I will work with the board to continue development of the concept, find new potential business opportunities and run the operative side of things.

So what happens to Student Inc.?

– Student Inc. is in very safe hands as there are a number of KTH Innovation staff involved in the place, the process and the projects in there.

But won't you miss KTH Innovation?

– Yes, I'm going to miss loads of stuff! KTH Innovation has given me opportunities to do stuff I would never have done otherwise. I've met Prins Daniel, successful business figures, delegations from all corners of the earth, travelled to the US twice and met a load of extremely cool and driven people. Above all I'm going to miss the people and drive bot from my colleagues and the innovators and entrepreneurs that we support.

If someone wants to apply for your KTH job, can they?

–  Yes, shortly! The job is going to be tweaked and polished further to suit this ever growing support service, but as soon as that's done the add will appear. Keep an eye on Facebook and you won't miss it!

Thanks for the chat My, and good luck with your exciting new venture. KTH Innovation will miss you too!
