You are welcome to KTH Entré during opening hours to collect your key, pick up pre-ordered bedding and linen, sign your contract and collect missing kitchenware. Contact Accommodation@kth.se before your visit and you will get faster assistance with your errand.

On the 1st and 15th of a month, 13.00-16.00 (or the next coming work day) KTH Accommodation staff is present at the KTH Entré desk to give new tenants keys, contract and can answer questions related to housing.

Please notice that keys are only being handed out during KTH Entré opening hours and to the contract holder in person. It is up to you to plan your arrival in accordance with the opening hours, and if that is not possible you are welcome to collect the keys the next day.

Estimating your arrival date

Resident permit

If you need to make a residence permit application in order to enter Sweden, please notice that it might take 3-4 month for the application to be processed and granted at the Migrationsverket. Keep this is mind when planning for arrival and housing. Since resident permit applications can take a while, we recommend holding off on applying for housing until you are certain of your arrival. Once you have accepted a housing contract the cancellation period is 2 months. Waiting until you are certain of your arrival means that you will cut down on costs for you, and not pay for an empty apartment.

Please note that if you are a UK citizen, you need to apply for a residence permit before arriving to Sweden.

In case of delays in arrival

If you have already been allocated an apartment and will not arrive in time, you should contact KTH Accommodation and consider cancelling it.
