After last years' successes, the career day ORBIT returns on April 23 2026! The purpose of the day is to highlight that the space sector encompasses much more than astronauts, rockets, and satellites. The industry spans a wide range of disciplines, with satellite data being used in urban planning, environmental and climate work, as well as forestry and agriculture. Additionally, advanced computer systems, electronics, and antenna technology for satellites play an increasingly important role in modern infrastructure.
