It is one of the most prestigious universities in engineering and science, and is counted among the top 20 in the world. Campus is located a bit outside Lausanne on Lake Geneva. EPFL is located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland and is Europe's most cosmopolitan technical university with students, teachers and staff from more than 120 nations.
