Why did you choose this master’s programme at KTH?
After working in the occupational health and safety field, I realised that I wanted to go beyond routine practice and understand the work environment's deeper scientific and technical foundations. When I found the Technology, Work and Health programme at KTH, I was impressed by its unique focus and the combination of Work Environment Engineering and Human Factors and Ergonomics and of course, studying at a globally recognized university like KTH is not just a great academic opportunity, it’s also an inspiring personal journey for me.
What are some of your favourite courses so far?
My favourite courses so far have been Chemical and Microbiological Risk Management in the Work Environment and Evaluation and Measures of the Acoustic Work Environment and Vibration. These courses combined theoretical depth with hands-on learning, and we had the opportunity to choose real-life case studies and analyze them in depth, which was both educational and inspiring.
How do studies at KTH differ from your previous studies?
KTH really focuses on working together and having thoughtful discussions. Compared to my previous studies, there is more room for reflection and analysis. The open and respectful relationship between students and faculty fosters meaningful dialogue, and the diversity of perspectives among classmates leads to enriching conversations. I also like how projects often involve working with companies.
