Project description
High content of calcium in certain cultivars of Eucalypt gibe severe problems in kraft pulping. The purpose of this project is to formulate a hypothesis for the effect, and optimally to find solutions that allows easy pulping even on wood with very high calcium content. The methods used is pilot scale pulping experiments, and chemical analysis.
