Financial Times praises article by Christian Thomann at INDEK

Financial Times lists article by Associate Professor Christian Thomann as: Academic research with real-world impact: highly commended. Thomann’s article “ Can Environmental Policy Encourage Technical Change? Emissions Taxes and R&D Investment in Polluting Firms ” (together with James R Brown, Iowa State University and Gustav Martinsson, Stockholm Business School) was published in the Review of Financial Studies in 2022.

In the article, the authors show that environmental taxes can encourage firms to invest in R&D.
