INDEK helps Negawat Challenge finalists

From Innovation and Entrepreneuership unit at INDEK, Associate Professor and his Ph.D. Student are asked to provide training and lectures on innovation and entrepreneurship for the regional Negawat Challenge finalists that would compete at global finals in Barcelona. 

Negawatt is a global competition empowering communities to innovate around local energy issues. Using a multi-phase open innovation methodology, this initiative aims to transform cities into more sustainable and energy efficient places.

Cities all over the world have been selected on the basis of their governments' commitment to energy efficiency and low carbon growth, as well as the existence of dynamic and growing entrepreneurial and technology sectors.

Both prepares content of the training and lectures and Serdar will be in Tanzania to deliver the content.
