INDEK students winners of this year's SOI scholarship 2024

Arvid Holmäng and Carl-Johan Fröling, who are students at Industrial economics and management, have won the 2024 SOI scholarship for an outstanding essay in public procurement with their jointly written thesis "Integrating AI in a Swedish Public Procurement Setting" supervised by INDEK's Professor Terrence Brown .

The justification: “With their thesis “Integrating AI in a Swedish Public Procurement Setting" Arvid Holmäng and Carl-Johan Fröling, students at KTH Industrial Technology and Management Industrial Economics and Organization, have contributed valuable insights into enablers and barriers that can help decision-makers and practitioners understand how AI can be integrated into public procurement in an effective and sustainable way. The results can also serve as a basis for further research and development in the area.”
