KTH/SSES Satellite Startup Day Hosted at Indek

On March 17, KTH and the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES) hosted “Satellite Startup Day” here at Indek, with entrepreneurs, students, faculty, and industry partners.

Dr. Terrence Brown, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Indek and SSES Center Director for KTH, was interviewed live for the event.

Several entrepreneurs and startup executives gave inspiring and educational talks, including:

  • Jonas Hombert, co-founder and former CEO of JayCut, the world’s most used online video editor, which was sold to BlackBerry in 2011.
  •  Sandra Uddbäck is in charge of the marketing strategy for Tink, the app that makes it fun, beautiful, and convenient to keep track of your money.
  • Andrey Zhukov is founding member of Toca Boca, a play studio that makes digital toys for touchscreen devices. Since 2011, they have released 22 products that has sold in over 160 countries worldwide, and downloads of over 60 million in January 2014. Andrey’s past endeavors include the first mobile Skype solution and Google Earth forerunner.
  • Francesca Agostino, co-founder of Bright Bait, a product innovator in the fishing industry.
