Detecting skin cancer in seconds (MST in SVT)

The research, developed by MST PhD student Fritzi Töpfer, was showcased in Swedish national TV.

Fritzi Töpfer 's research, which consists of a micromachined probe that uses THz spectroscopy to rapidly detect skin cancer by looking at the water content in the skin, has recently attracted attention from the swedish media.
