Postdoc in Resilient 6G Networking
School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KTH
Job description
6G networking is supposed to cater towards new use cases, which will integrate communication and computing in novel and highly dependent ways. A new application class, summarized as the Cyber-Physical Continuum, will be enabled by 6G networks, allowing entirely new use cases with unprecedented utility to societies. Nevertheless, these new opportunities are associated with an ever-increasing complexity of future networked systems. It is commonly accepted in the academic and industrial research community that AI will play here a pivotal role in efficiently managing such future networks despite the complexity increase.
Our research group is focusing on science paving the way towards 6G networks, with a particular emphasis on the dependable Cyber-Physical Continuum. Our research agenda is supported through several leading large initiatives, where recently we have engaged on a project in the domain of resilient 6G networking. In this context we are seeking in this call postdoc candidates with the ambition to lead research in the domain of 6G, AI and resilience. Aspects such as novel threat scenarios, distributed inference, AI RAN and resilience play a significant role in this context. The position involves collaborations within our research group as well as with other research groups from different disciplines and universities. It will also comprise collaborations with industrial partners.
