Abstract
The best studied examples of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) are the stochastic heat and the stochastic wave equation. I will use these two examples on the sphere to give a short introduction to SPDEs and their numerical approximation.
This presentation includes joint work with David Cohen and Christoph Schwab.
