Emil Sköldberg: Homological properties of binomial edge ideals

Abstract

I will talk about binomial edge ideals, which are ideals in the polynomial ring k[x_1,...,x_n,y_1,...,y_n] generated by the binomials x_i y_j - x_j y_i, for every edge ij in a simple graph G. In particular, I'll talk about their Betti numbers and their resolutions.
