Sofia Tirabassi: Bridgleand stability conditions on normal surfaces

Abstract:

I will present a paper posted on the arXiv by A. Langer about a month ago. In it the author defines a Chern character for normal surfaces (in any characteristic) and shows that it satisfy a Bogomolov-like inequality. This allow us to construct Bridgeland stability conditions on the derived category of normal surfaces.
