Daniel Puerto (Madrid, 1997) is a composer, pianist, and musicologist whose work unfolds at the crossroads of sound, technology, and narrative. His practice is rooted in the belief that music is not only an aesthetic experience but also a political gesture—capable of questioning structures, imagining alternatives, and opening spaces for dialogue. Moving fluidly between instrumental and electronic music, performance, dance, and installation, Daniel explores multimedia forms that blur boundaries and invite audiences into critical encounters. Collaboration and interdisciplinarity are central to his process, allowing him to build works that resonate both artistically and socially.
He has presented his works at festivals such as Limina Festival, Mixtur, Klexos Lab, Hjorted Art and Music Festival, Workshop for Young Composers at WEEKIDEA, and with ensembles including Barcelona Modern, Mosaik and Spoldzielnia Muzyczna among others.
Currently based in Stockholm, he pursues a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Artistic Music at Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm, where his research deepens the intersections of art, politics, and technology.
