Brighter Startup 2015 - Touchdown!

ManoMotion

Is developing software for real time 3D gesture analysis that allows the user to interact with technology through finger and hand gestures in 3D. This is particularly important to create effective interaction without the need for additional hardware in Augmented and Virtual Reality, and with the small screens, or no screens, typical in wearable computing and smart devices. ChallengerMode

is a web platform where gamers can compete against other gamers for money in competitive skill games. To play for prize money, users set up a challenge solo or team up with friends, find opponents and play the match. Tech Space: Gamification

Magnea

are developing a product that will motivate patients to move around more by measuring the patients’ movements, quantifying the data into different activities and displaying the activity level to both the patient and staff. Tech Space: HealthTech

Furhat

is a revolutionary and unique robot head that uses back-projection technology and 3D facial animation to render a robot head with a very human-like and natural looking appearance. The Furhat robot head uses a state-of-the-art animation system that is back-projected on a translucent mask. Tech Space: Robotics/Next-Gen Technology

CompleteTest

is a software tool that generates tests automatically and in just a few seconds. Even if CompleteTest uses a so-called model checker, which is a complex technology requiring a high degree of expertise, our tool offers a simple interface for the intended users. The process becomes less tricky and faster to learn, which will make things more efficient. Tech Space: SaaS/Software Tool

Ortrud Medical

is developing a tourniquet that helps nurses prick. By lowering the number of unsuccessful pricks the tourniquet will bring about fewer painful pricks for patients, save time in healthcare and costs for society. Tech Space: HealthTech

Anchr

is a new app that redefines local search. It can be seen as an automatic search engine for location. Anywhere you go, Anchr will know everything any service is saying about the places around you and display it to you so you can access the content you're interested in. Tech Space: Mobile Tech
