While the researchers in the Danish group are diverse, many of them share an interest in new work on space developed in the UK, combined with earlier work in American geography represented by such figures as D. W. Meinig, John Stilgoe, and J. B. Jackson, as well as Continental writers such as Certeau. Research fields represented in this group include: History, History of Technology, Environmental History, Urban History, American Studies, Literary Studies, Tourism Studies, and Womens Studies.
