Linnaeus Prize awarded to Division Professor Sverker Sörlin

Professor Sverker Sörlin is the winner of The Linnaeus Award by the Småland Academy. It is received by Professor Sörlin in person at a ceremony in the Växjö Cathedral in the Swedish province of Småland where Linnaeus was born. Sörlin is offered the award for his career-long research on Linnaeus' scientific career and the globalizing natural history project carried out by Linnaeus' twenty closest students on all known continents.

Sverker Sörlin is Professor in the Division of History of Science, Technology and Environment at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and founding President of the KTH Environmental Humanities Laboratory
