About me

Aksel was a doctoral student at the departement of Media Technology and Interaction Design and a member of the Sustainable Futures Lab. He has an interdisciplinary background in Interaction Design, Sustainability as well as Environmental Psychology. In his research, Aksel investigates ways to support climate action from the middle-out using design and participatory methodology. Aksels current research focus on the troubling of environmental data such as CO2 emissions from academic flying through low-tech materialisation and data physicalisation as a means to facilitate reflection, discussion and action towards a low-flying academia.
