Om mig
I am an architect, PhD student and lecturer who do research in the interdisciplinary borderland between architecture, planning and philosophy by use of ethnographic research methods. My research interest focuses on issues of ethics, accountability and agency in architectural practice. More specifically am I interested in what architectural practices can do - how can architectural practices contribute to social change?
My PhD research explores contemporary discourse on "urban justice" as it has emerged from large scale postwar housing areas in Sweden over the last decades, to see what can be learnt from this discourse for socially and critically engaged architectural practices. The overall aim of the PhD research project is to discuss how, perhaps, architectural practices can contribute to the construction of a more just city.
