About me
Fabio is a Ph.D. student at the Division of Micro and Nanosystems in the Department of Intelligent Systems at the School of Electrical Engineering and has been treasurer of the Ph.D. Chapter at KTH.
His research focuses on the fabrication and characterization of solid-state nanopores for biomolecular sensing under the guidance and supervision of Göran Stemme, Frank Niklaus, and Shyamprasad Raja.
His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as PNAS and Advanced Materials. Among other awards, he has been granted the Provost fellowship and the Graduate Student Research Award from Tufts University.
He received his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University in 2019, his M.Sc. in Micro and Nanotechnologies for Integrated Systems from EPFL, Grenoble-INP and Polytechnic of Turin in 2015, and his Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Università Degli Studi di Genova in 2013.
When he is not working in the lab, you can find him engaged in outdoor activities like mountaineering and rock climbing, or teaching AcroYoga.
