Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering with a Docent in Process Systems Engineering. My research revolves around two main topics

Greenhouse gas mitigation/removal
Bioenergy conversion

Within my group we perform both modelling (process modelling and techno-economic analysis) and experimental work catering to research projects that focus:

Methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) removal from the atmosphere
Direct air capture of CO2
Decarbonization of industrial sector & CO2 capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS)
Hydrogen generation from biomass and other carbonaceous sources
Utilization of waste from industry in bioenergy conversion
