Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Energy Processes since November 2019. My research revolves around two main topics
- Greenhouse gas mitigation/removal
- Bioenergy conversion
Within my group we perform both modelling (process modelling and techno-economic analysis) and experimental work catering to research projects that focus:
- Methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) removal from the atmosphere
- Direct air capture of CO2
- Decarbonization of industrial sector & CO2 capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS)
- Hydrogen generation from biomass and other carbonaceous sources
- Utilization of waste from industry in bioenergy conversion
