Detailed schedule for prosamm15 (students starting the Computer science master's program in 2015)

This course will run for two full years. It consists of one reflection seminar each period and two study visits to different IT companies.

Period 1, 2015

Lecture September 1, 8.15-10.00 in room B1
Introduction to the course and the master's program.

Lecture September 8, 8.15-10.00, in seminar room 1537 (see the "Rooms for seminars" web page)
Introduction to studies at KTH.
This lecture is only for students who have not studied at KTH before.

Reflection seminar 1 September 22, 8.10-10.00 or September 24, 15.10-17.00 (different times and rooms for different groups)
Topic: The computer science master's program revisited.

The specification of the assignment will be published September 8 on the course web.
Your written reflection must be handed in before September 17, at 24.00.

The D day October 1 in the E building square
The whole day is the D day, which is an opportunity to talk to IT company representatives.

Period 2, 2015

Information November 3, 8.15-10.00 in room L1
Information about elective specializations and courses.

Study visit 2 in November or December

October 15 the lists where you apply for different companies to visit are announced.
October 29 is the last day for applying for a study visit.
Between November 5 and December 3 the study visit will take place.
