Title: Introduce IOT and services to a traditional product business

Abstract:

IOT enables new services and hence new revenue streams for a product business.

The presentation will discuss the importance of understanding the impact on the business model, segmentation and channel strategy when IOT is introduced in a pure product business. So how do you transform a not connected product to a connected product and what do you have to consider? Several examples will be given which illustrate the challenge. One way to do this in a structured way will be presented to a concrete example when the IOT is introduced in a pure product business where a new business model is introduced with its channel partners and resellers structure.

Today we have the final status update before the final presentation next week. 

We'll go through a little on the logistics for the final presentation, but primarily we'll focus on your projects. We want to know what you've been doing, what you're currently working on, and how you are going to wrap things up. We want to hear how you plan to present (what to say, what to demo) and a little on the other deliverables (the webpage and the report).
