Students are welcome to join us for "Climate Politics in Action #7" with Marcus Lindeberg Goñi, a Research Associate at Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI). He currently works with quantifying climate transition costs and benefits for cities in the Viable Cities Finance project.

In this event, we will however mostly discuss his previous work as political advisor on the Environment Committee of the European Parliament. There he took part in negotiations regarding the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) and the European Climate Law. We will talk about building alliances to speed up climate action within the EU and the role of climate research to prioritise climate initiatives in the EU.
