Laura Mesas Sanchez

PhD

Laura Mesas Sánchez worked kinetic resolutions of racemic alcohols using a ferrocene-based DMAP catalyst. She defended her thesis 2014 (28 Nov) entitled "Organocatalytic Acylation for the kinetic resolution of secondary alcohols – Synthetic Applications and mechanistic studies" .

Laura is currently working at Bioworks in Uppsala, Sweden.

Chao Zhou received his Ph.D. at Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (TIPC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) working in the Lab of Supramolecular Photochemistry with Photocatalytic Organic Synthesis. His research interest is:

Chao Zhou is currently working as a Marie Curie in Prof. Bach group in Münich, Germany.

Anton Axelsson

Post-doctoral fellow

Anton joined the group in spring 2020 and is working with chiral foto-redox chemistry. Anton received his Ph.D. from Chalmers Universiity of Technology under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Henrik Sundén. In 2021, Anton started a new position at Sprint Bioscience.

Prathap Jeya Kaniraj

Dr. Prathap Jeya Kaniraj is a post-doctoral fellow working on nickel-based catalysts on nanocellulose. During his Ph. D. studies, he worked on enantioselective synthesis using different transition metal catalyst at the Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI, India). He has also a post-doctoral experience from the TECHNION-Israel Institute of Technology in the group of Prof. Galiya Maayan.
