Laura Mesas Sanchez PhD |
Laura Mesas Sánchez worked kinetic resolutions of racemic alcohols using a ferrocene-based DMAP catalyst. She defended her thesis 2014 (28 Nov) entitled "Organocatalytic Acylation for the kinetic resolution of secondary alcohols – Synthetic Applications and mechanistic studies" . Anton joined the group in spring 2020 and is working with chiral foto-redox chemistry. Anton received his Ph.D. from Chalmers Universiity of Technology under the supervision of Assoc. Dr. Prathap Jeya Kaniraj is a post-doctoral fellow working on nickel-based catalysts on nanocellulose. During his Ph. D. studies, he worked on enantioselective synthesis using different transition metal catalyst at the Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI, India). He has also a post-doctoral experience from the TECHNION-Israel Institute of Technology in the group of Prof. Galiya Maayan.
