Research

The research in the Lundberg lab is focused on the development and applications of new synthetic transformations using catalysis and electrochemistry as main approaches. With a synergistic combination of method development and kinetic analysis, synthetic progress is facilitated and mechanistic features unveiled that increase process understanding and enable development of new transformations. At this time, we are focusing on "clip chemistry" and the development of tools to cleave strong polarized sigma bonds with subsequent functionalization.
