How to apply

The application period for most programmes is between mid-October and mid-January. The applications are made through University Admissions in Sweden, the online application system for Swedish universities. Joint master's programmes may have later application deadlines, but no applications close before 15 January.

The academic year at KTH is divided into two terms of 20 weeks, with the autumn term beginning at the end of August and the spring term beginning in January. Programmes start in the autumn, which means students apply for studies starting in August the same year.
