With a strong interest in both Artificial Intelligence and Medicine, he chose this programme because it combines both fields to help people—something he’s always been passionate about.

Why did you choose this master’s programme at KTH?
I chose this master’s program at KTH because it aligns perfectly with my interests. I have a strong passion for both Artificial Intelligence and Medicine. Helping people has always been important to me, and when I discovered this master’s program, which combines AI and Medicine to make a positive impact on people's lives, it became an easy choice. Finding this opportunity at KTH, one of the top universities in the world, was the cherry on the cake, as I am learning about subjects I am genuinely passionate about.
What are the best aspects of your programme?
I’d say the class size for the programme is somewhat small, which provides a better connection between professors and students. Additionally, the opportunities for research with faculty members are exciting, and students are encouraged to pursue them.
How do studies at KTH differ from your previous studies?
I believe students will find their studies at KTH to be quite different from their previous experiences. Coming from an environment where I had classes every day of the week, I appreciate that this isn’t always the case at KTH. The schedule is more relaxed, which means you may not have many classes, but you will have plenty of time to complete your assignments. I find this to be very beneficial, as it allows students more freedom to focus on other important areas, such as research.
How is student life in Stockholm?
It’s very nice. As a student in Stockholm, you’re given a lot of discounts. This can apply to transportation, food, events, and many other things. I also appreciate how accessible everything is; the transportation system here works well, so getting from one place to another is very easy. Last but not least, there are a lot of things to do in and around Stockholm, so students have plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful city and its surroundings.
How would you describe your time at KTH so far?
I have no complaints so far. The people here are very friendly and always willing to help. KTH also organizes many events through the student union, THS, which has allowed me to meet a lot of new people and make some really good friends.
What would you like to say to students thinking of choosing KTH for master’s studies?
KTH is amazing. The facilities are new, the people are welcoming, and the friends you make here are amazing as well. I know it might sound cliché, but trust me when I say this. It might seem like a scary and big step, as you might be coming from very far away, but you won’t be disappointed if you choose KTH for your master’s studies.
