Gender and equality

About the research at INDEK that explores how gender and other dimensions of inequalities are manifested, reproduced and counteracted in organisations.

Research area description

Research within “Gender and Equality” examines how gender and other power relations are reproduced and contested through everyday practices and processes in organisations, and the consequences of these dynamics at individual, organisational, and societal levels.

The studies address a broad range of empirical phenomena, including recruitment, career systems, project work, leadership, sexual harassment, diversity management, technology and innovation, and engage with theoretical concepts such as intersectionality and homosociality.

The overarching aim is to understand the organizational processes that shape organisations and promote equality.
