Job description
Coordination of the KTH commitment for the upgrade of the ATLAS experiment at CERN. Development of the software and firmware needed to read out the luminosity data stream from the High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD).

Qualifications
Requirements
- A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.
- The applicant must also be a qualified ATLAS author, i.e. have completed the one year of service work necessitated by the ATLAS collaboration to be allowed to sign the scientific papers from the collaboration.
- A strong background in accelerator-based particle physics experiments and the applicant is expected to have internationally competitive scientific qualifications in the field of particle physics.
- Documented experience of working with data acquisition for particle physics experiments.

About the employment
