Job description
As a member of PDC’s Scientific Services group, you will work with NAISS (https://www.naiss.se/) user support and software development to facilitate research, data analysis, and workflows for researchers at KTH and across Sweden. The goal is to provide researchers with the support they need to make the best possible use of the national HPC resources.
PDC is also involved in the development of GROMACS, an open-source computation dynamic software package optimized for supercomputing environments.

Qualifications
Requirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in chemistry. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
- Advanced experience in computational dynamics analysis in a HPC environment.
- The applicant must have good communication skills with users and be able to reach out and inform about the activities.
- Furthermore, it is required that the applicant possesses good collaboration skills and can work independently.
- Knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues, with particular focus on gender equality.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required as it is a central part of the daily work.
Preferred qualifications
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
- It is considered a merit if the applicant has good knowledge of and contacts within the Swedish network of researchers currently using the national supercomputer resources.
- We also value broad knowledge of other softwares used in the field specially with the program GROMACS.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.

About the employment

A position as a postdoctoral fellow is a time-limited qualified appointment focusing mainly on research, intended as a first career step after a dissertation.
