Abstract: The goal of this thesis is to provide an understanding of game theory in the mathematical sense and introduce a way to make it easier to solve games involving more than three participants. First, we will study and solve zero-sum games for two players. Then introduce zero-sum games involving more than four players. Lastly, we will introduce and use the theory of decomposition, which is the concept of decomposition of a game with a lot of players into smaller games with fewer players.
