Freeman Award for "Making Europe"!

Together with eleven other historians of technology
and
have been working for several years on a major book series, "Making Europe: Technology and Transformations, 1850-2000", which comprises 6 co-authored volumes and has been edited by Johan Schot and Phil Scranton.
Last week EASST formally named their book series the winner of the 2014 Freemand Award! This award is given in recognition of a publication that reflects a significant collective contribution to the interaction of science and technology studies with the study of innovation. It is awarded in honour of the late Chris Freeman.
