Cecilia Åsberg from the Division and Meike Schalk from KTH School of Architecture have been granted to run an introductory course in feminist environmental humanities within the university consortium for doctoral students. Gender & Sustainability: Introducing Feminist Environmental Humanities is planned to start this fall.

- In Sweden and internationally an introductory course to feminist environmental humanities within the university consortium and the InterGender Research School was called for, and I was planning to do such a course. Then came Corona, Professor Cecilia Åsberg says,

Now, with the collaboration with Meike Schalk at The School of Architecture at KTH and the KTD program between KTH and Konstfack this course will be even more KTH-specific. The third cycle course currently in planning will start this fall, in corona-adapted form, with the broad and specific designation Gender & Sustainability: Introducing Feminist Environmental Humanities. Åsberg and Schalk will lead the course, but a number of exciting guest teachers are also engaged for seminars and classes.

- With the research course "Gender & Sustainability: Introducing Feminist Environmental Humanities", we look forward to creating a creative base for gender and sustainability knowledge. A base that can be integrated into PhD education and contribute (with analytical tools) to ongoing dissertations in critical and practical, theoretical and empirical research subjects at KTH, in collaboration with KTH (as KTD), in gender studies but also in other subjects at Swedish and international universities who are or are not affiliated with InterGender, Cecilia Åsberg says.

More information about the course will be posted at the Division's education pages in the fall.
