Centre for Anthropocene History post-doctoral researcher Gus Lester will be part of a new series, "Mining Conversations", hosted by the Max PIanck Institute for Geoanthropology and Anthropocene Commons.
Gus Lester will be part of the first session of a new monthly online series, Mining Conversations , hosted by the Max PIanck Institute for Geoanthropology and Anthropocene Commons , taking place tomorrow evening (April 29, 8:00-9:30PM CEST). This first session is called The Futurepasts of … Copper.
The following speakers will initiate the session with their short inputs:
- Gustave Lester, historian of science, Centre for Anthropocene History, KTH Stockholm
- Victor Hugo Salinas Silva, geographer, educator, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile
- Jennifer Scappettone, artist, translator and teacher, University of Chicago
