For the second session of of the Stories and Seeds film-forums we will screen the documentary Disobedience (2016). The event will be chaired by Ethemcan Turhan, a postdoctoral researcher at KTH Environmental Humanities Lab and a former Mercator-IPC fellow on climate change at Istanbul Policy Center, Sabancı University. Disobedience (2016) tells the story of a new phase of the climate movement: courageous action that is being taken on the front lines of the climate crisis on every continent, led by regular people fed up with the power and pollution of the fossil fuel industry. Filmed in the Philippines, Turkey, Germany, Canada, Cambodia and the United States, it weaves together these riveting stories with insights from the most renowned voices on social justice and climate.

Admission is free, and a refreshment will be served to the attendees after the event.

The event is co-organized by the KTH Environmental Humanities Laboratory and Arena Idé. Stories and Seeds is a project funded by the KTH Sustainability Office.
