Industriell Transformation: Forskningsplattform på KTH

Since 2019, KTH Industrial Transformation platform has been one of KTH's six strategic research areas (the others are Energy, Digitalization, Materials, Transport and Life Science Technology). The platform will bring together all KTH researchers who in various ways support the industry's transition to a sustainable, CO2-neutral business with strengthened competitiveness.

It is a challenge to divide the research within Industrial Transformation into strict research areas as the research operates in different areas that extend over several different industries. The Industrial Transformation Platform has divided the research into four overarching research areas: Product Development, Production, Business Models and Enabling Technology.  Four industries have been focused so far: Automotive, Pharma/Bioproduction, Infrastructure and Food.
