About me
Saul Rodriguez received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Army Polytechnic School (ESPE), Quito, Ecuador, in 2001, the M.Sc.degree in System-on-Chip (SoC) Design in 2005, Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Systems in 2009, and Docent title in Integrated Devices and Circuits in 2017 from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. Currently, he is a Professor at the Division of Electronics and Embedded Systems at KTH. His research area covers analog and mixed-signal Integrated Circuits for Biomedical Systems. The focus of his research is the development and integration of medical SoCs for a variety of applications, including implantable electronics, biopotential sensors, bioimpedance sensors, biochemical sensors, and neuro-muscular stimulators, among others. Most of his projects are in cooperation with hospitals, medical universities, and MedTech companies.
Saul Rodriguez has 22 granted patents in 3 family patents and is a co-author of over 100 scientific publications. He teaches courses in Analog Electronics and Analog Integrated Circuit Design at Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD levels.
