Om mig
Susanne Nilsson is a researcher in innovation management at Integrated Product Development and Design, Department of Engineering Design, KTH. She holds a MSc in materials technology and a Ph.D. in innovation management and has more than 15 years of industry experience from R&D, product development and innovation management in the medical device sector. Her research focuses on how organizations develop innovation capability and collaborate for innovation, particularly in relation to industrial transformation and complex societal challenges. Current research includes sustainable and circular product-service innovation, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and frugal innovation and entrepreneurship. She has extensive experience of initiating industry-academia collaborations and research projects involving companies and public organizations. Susanne teaches innovation management and product development at master´s level and contributes to higher-education teacher training in challenge-driven education. She is also engaged in KTH Global Development Hub, developing opportunities for students to creatively manage real-life sustainability challenges together with external stakeholders in Africa and Sweden.
