Professor Emeritus Peter Stilbs

Professor Emeritus in Applied Physical Chemistry at KTH.

My main research interests are techniques and applications of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) - in particular magnetic field gradient methods for studying transport processes - to quantify molecular dynamics, aggregation processes and binding phenomena of various kinds. Such NMR techniques are particularly informative for polymer, polyelectrolyte and surfactant systems in solution.

Presently, efforts are focussed on applications and development of electrophoretic NMR (eNMR) and further consolidating NMR-based methodology for studies of molecular self-diffusion.
