Professor Emeritus Peter Stilbs
Applied Physical Chemistry at KTH
My main research interests are techniques and applications of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) - in particular magnetic field gradient methods for studying transport processes - to quantify molecular dynamics, aggregation processes and binding phenomena of various kinds. Such NMR techniques are particularly informative for polymer, polyelectrolyte and surfactant systems in solution.
Presently, efforts are focussed on applications and development of electrophoretic NMR (e-NMR) and on consolidating an Industrial NMR Centre .
