Registering student theses

All approved student theses should be registered in the KTH publication database DiVA.

According to a decision by the university director from 2017-06-13 Decision by the university director (pdf 52 kB) and a additional decision by the university director (pdf 62 kB) from 2018-12-12 all approved student theses should be registered in the KTH publication database DiVA by administrators at the schools of KTH.

Student theses in DiVA

KTH's student theses are registered and published in full text in the KTH publication database DiVA. Student theses are registered in DiVA from 2011-. Older student theses can be found at the department where they were registered.

Theses in DiVA can be found not only through DiVA's search interface, but also in Uppsök and search engines such as Google and Google Scholar.

KTH:s Publikationsdatabas DiVA contains information about all student theseses written at KTH from 2011- and onwards.
DiVA Publikationsdatabas , a national publication database.
Uppsök , database with student theses in full text from all universities and colleges in Sweden.

Local DiVA administrator: All schools/departments have DiVA administrators. These upload and publish theses before they become visible in DiVA. For instructions how to register in DiVA use the DiVA manuals .

Contact the student office at your school and ask when it should be published. Find student offices here. You should not register your student thesis in DiVA by yourself. It is done by the adminitrators at your school.
