Published Oct 04, 2022

Associate professors Gustav Martinsson  and Christian Thomann  at INDEK together with James R. Brown (Iowa State) show in a new publication in the Review of Financial Studies that firms facing environmental taxes invest in research and development to reduce emissions. The effect is most concentrated in sectors where one can expect firms to make use of external knowledge.

About the journal: The Review of Financial Studies is one of the three most highly ranked journals in academic finance (AJG 4*)
