FineCell needs your help – respond to our Innovation Panel!

Published Jun 13, 2017

Are you interested in new technology from KTH and have relevant industry insights or market expertise regarding nanocellulose materials? Great! One of our projects, FineCell, is looking for input into if and how their technology can best be brought to the market.

The team behind FineCell are Dongfang Li, Jonatan Henschen and Monica Ek.

FineCell is a novel simple production process for nanocellulose based on renewable materials. The technology has been developed at KTH for several years and now seeking to upscale and find industrial applications for its materials and production process. With the process new nanocellulose materials with tunable surface properties can be achieved and there is a substantial reduction in energy and water consumption, as well as an increased production yield (to 80-90%). Estimates are that production cost could be reduced by up to 50%.

The KTH Innovation Panel

To facilitate feedback on the technology, KTH Innovation has developed a web based market research tool that we call the KTH Innovation Panel. We will present the actual case's technology in a short narrated presentation and follow up with a few questions. The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete. Why not take this opportunity to use your expertise to boost the technology solutions of tomorrow by clicking on the green botton below. Thank you!

Take me to the survey!
