Why did you choose this master’s programme at KTH?

KTH is one of the world's most prestigious universities in engineering and technology. Its master's programme in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with good integration of both the theoretical and practical aspects, not only provides students with access to cutting-edge expertise but also offers students the opportunities to put it into practice through projects and research. The programme allows me to customise my curriculum, emphasising Embedded Systems, which satisfies my research interests in embedded systems and software.

What are the best aspects of your programme?

I think flexibility in choosing courses is one of the best aspects. It allows me to personalise the course schedule within the programme through different tracks. You are also entitled to learn some knowledge and technologies from courses provided by other programmes.

Further, opportunities to perform projects with technology companies are highly valued. My capacity to analyse and solve practical problems has significantly increased by applying the knowledge and skills acquired while learning new ones.

How do studies at KTH differ from your previous studies?

At KTH, students get exposure to an atmosphere filled with opportunities to do hands-on projects. And it is customary for students from different cultural backgrounds to work together, aiming to develop teamwork capabilities and solve problems. I'm convinced that this education scheme will tremendously benefit students' development.

Additionally, instead of two semesters, every academic year is divided into four periods, meaning there are two periods each semester. This allows students to focus on two courses with high efficiency and concentration during each period.
